Healthcare professionals who are not subject to statutory registration in Hong Kong are “regulated” on their own, mostly through voluntary, society-based registration under the principle of professional autonomy, whereby the respective professional bodies administer a registration system and promulgated a membership list. To better inform the public and service users and to promote a high level of service standard for these professionals.
As the “Accredited Registers Scheme for Healthcare Professionals” is becoming more and more mature and attracting attention, the pamphlet “Accredited Healthcare Professional Body Series” has been published officially, which will allow more people in Hong Kong to recognize its importance!
The pamphlet of “Accredited Healthcare Professional Body Series of Dietitians” is announced.
